Blink Health, a startup that provides health information, home automation and other products to consumers, is launching a new product to capitalize on its growing health market.

The $1 billion SmartHome device is a portable, smart home-like device that connects to the cloud and provides the ability to manage home devices remotely, Blink said in a statement.

Blink Health’s SmartHome product is designed to provide consumers with the best possible access to home and office health information and services through a combination of smart home technology and mobile apps, the company said.

Blinking said the SmartHome can be connected to a home network via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and will work with smartphones, tablets and other devices that support the Android platform.

The device is powered by the company’s cloud-based software, Blink Health said.
